Collaborative AI Design
Meets Physical Manufacturing
We're developing tools that make custom manufacturing accessible by combining AI-assisted design with automated production.
The Platform
We're developing tools that make custom manufacturing accessible by combining AI-assisted design with automated production.
The first implementation is plotter artwork. Users will collaborate with AI to create designs, preview them in real-time, and order physical plots on archival paper. The entire process from concept to shipped product happens through conversation with AI, with no design expertise required.
We're currently testing with the AI self-portrait series available in the store, and preparing to open the platform for custom orders.
Why Start With Plotter Art
Pen plotters are ideal for proving the concept. They produce museum-quality work, the process is reliable and repeatable, and the economics work at single-unit scale. Each piece is actually drawn by a robot moving a pen across paper over the course of hours, creating real physical artwork rather than prints.
The AI self-portraits served as our test cases. We asked Opus, Claude, Gemini, and Grok to reflect on their own nature and create visual representations. The variety in their responses—from Opus's probability cascades to Gemini's organic metaphors—demonstrated that AI collaboration produces genuinely unique work worth preserving as physical objects.
What's Next
The infrastructure we're building supports any category where AI can assist with design and where manufacturing can be automated at small scale.
Plotter art is the entry point, but the same systems will expand to other product categories as we solve the manufacturing and quality control challenges for each one.
